Installation, video and wallpainting.The installation consists of a newsreel that shows the suffragette Emily Wilding Davison throwing herself in front of King George V’s horse in the Derby Horse Race 1913, and a black wall painting spelling: the rebel.
The suffragette were fighting for women’s right to vote in England and often used violent methods to draw public attention to their cause.
